There Is A Struggle

There is a struggle within all of us that pulls us back and forth.
It fights the person we were designed to be.
It pulls on the essence of what your spirit draws out of our mortal bodies.
It fights us, pulls us, draws out every ounce of who we strive to be.
Draw out who we are Lord for only then will we find fulfillment in the lives we lead.
We fight against our spirits, we war within our flesh, we struggle with wrong and right to do what is right.
What will keep us strong, keep us on the right path?
Only Your Spirit will guide our lives, only Your love will help us survive.
Your presence we need to overcome the fight inside.
Show us, find us, love us to where we need to be.
That place that holds our hopes, our faith, and our dreams.
Use us Lord and help us in this struggle, help us in this fight, for we wrestle against spirits and not flesh and blood.
