The Path You Choose
We all choose a path whether we want to or not.
It creates our life choices and all we live to be.
We can make excuses as to why we do what we want.
But the truth is we can’t blame anyone for where we are.
Our families don’t own the choices we’ve made, they only provide the soil that started our growth.
We can waste time saying that life was unfair but the choice to do better is all in your own hands.
We all have to carry what we choose in our hearts, whether good or bad choices we have to own all of them on our own.
We have to choose our own path, even when it’s unclear.

Adding to my profile
Recently I lost my mom, and the transition of not having her in my life has been something that has been very difficult. I look back on everything she said, and everything I learned from her and what stands out is that she was prepared. She made sure that her leaving this earth wouldn’t be a heavy burden on those she cared about.
This preparedness has made me look at how we can always be ready for whatever may come because truth is, WE JUST DON’T KNOW. We don’t know sometimes how to prepare but I can assure you we will all HAVE to be ready when LIFE changes. I am here to assist with being prepared as much as you can with a few tools that I will link to my post and though some will disregard, other’s will see the need to be fully prepared. Will you?

The Thieves
The things that come to steal your peace are what I call thieves.
They creep in so quietly and suddenly they are released.
You find your peace being stolen, you find your mind stressed out.
You wonder what is wrong with you, now you’re filled with doubt.
It’s the thieves that have you all undone, the ones that you can’t see.
It’s the everyday thieves that make you feel like you need some quick relief.
It may come in the form of a job or in a traffic jam, it may even be in an email,
Not One More Piece of SPAM!
However it crept in, it’s time for it to go.
Show the thief your backside as you proceed to close the door.
Goodbye thief, you cannot stay here.
My peace is not for sale and my joy is where I live.
