I Can’t Sit Back and not Move

I can’t sit back and not move.

Thinking my life will be smooth.

No mountains or valleys in my way.

Just happy times and a smiley face.

I see the pain all around.

It grieves my heart, brings me down.

I know there is something to do.

What can I do there is only one of me.

There is such a gap, such a need.

I’ll help one person at a time.

I will look to see how I can use my gift to make someone smile.

This is what we all must do.
