Recently, my work has brought me to many different places. It always amazes me when I pose the question to my clients, “Are you ready for my visit?”. Their response is always the same, “Yes come on”, but when I arrive they aren’t really ready for me. There is always that one more thing to do while I wait just 1 more minute!
That is the same for our response to God. He has asked us, (because He is a gentleman), “Are you ready for me to come visit you?”. What is your response to Him? Have you taken the time to inconvenience your busy schedule to have that fellowship time, or is your time so cluttered that you say just 1 more minute, Lord.
Though we have things to do our time shouldn’t be so preoccupied with everything else that we don’t TAKE the time for His special visit. Life is happening, true, but make the Time to spend the Time with the one who gave you the Time.
