Starbucks! Just saying, when it comes to Starbucks I’m a Fan! So let me tell you how something small triggered a Big response on this morning. On my way to work I occasionally make a pit stop at Starbucks for my usual morning starter. Well, this morning was no different. I always go to the drive through because it is usually quicker than parking and getting out. Now, because I am such a huge fan of Starbucks, I have a gold card and I participate in their Star Rewards program. Over the weekend I hit the limit I needed for a Free item, and I was Super Excited! I had planned on using my reward for my purchase. I ordered and waited to pay. When I got to the window I had my reward ready to use. The lady at the window said, “Your drink is paid for by the lady in the car in front of you.” Well! That small act of random kindness made my otherwise ordinary Monday morning, Something Special! She made me smile Big on my way to work!
It was a small act which triggered a Big response! Now I’m smiling at everyone and my day is brighter because someone decided to do something small.
I am thankful for the small things which brighten our lives at just the right moments when we need a little reminder that someone really does care. Reminder taken, and smiles Are Contagiuos!
