The Incompleteness of Life

Have you ever found yourself feeling incomplete?

Not broken or open, just incomplete? I have, definitely.

Recently while putting together a puzzle with my “mini me” we got almost all the way finished a 500 piece puzzle and there were three missing pieces.

This was such a let down especially because it was one of the hardest, most intricate puzzles we had ever done, ever.

Still, the fact remained it was incomplete.

It was a blow to us and we sat wondering, where could those pieces be? Maybe they fell out in the closet or under the couch? Who knows, but it sure left us feeling incomplete.

When we started we were going to glue it together and proudly display our work, but when we realized what we were left with we simply took it apart and threw it away.

Isn’t that how we sometimes react to our lives? In fact don’t we react that way to many areas of incompleteness we encounter? We just throw them away, but unfortunately life isn’t that easy to just discard. Sometimes the incompleteness is a time we would rather forget, or a personal struggle we just keep wrestling with.

Whatever your incompleteness is know that when you decide to complete, or face that area it will bring up feelings of old. Some feelings that were inside like buried treasure or some deep hidden pain that you thought you dealt with. It will hurt, for a while, but soon, very soon, it will start to feel completed, finished, overcome.

Soon it will not be an area of incompleteness but an area of Victory over the past. Take the time to complete your incompleteness, and the reward you find will be Great!

Blessings~
