Each one of us shares our lives with others but sometimes we keep things private. This is our choice to allow someone to fully know who we are, what we feel, or how we hurt. All in all it is our choice to let our deepest feelings be exposed at the risk of being misunderstood, or taken lightly, or no feeling of relevancy at all.
Our lives are private even when we allow someone to come as close as a spouse, or as close as a close friend. Our private lives, or thoughts, or feelings are not private to God. He is the only one who knows and understands who we are in our deepest parts. So when we look for encouragement, or comfort, or peace of mind why would we think we could rely on anyone who doesn’t know us privately? We have only shared a portion of who we are inside yet we expect others to know how to react to our private lives.
There is a lot going on inside each one of us always but how can we trust anyone to heal our hurts, pain, sadness, sickness when we keep those parts private? We can only expect God to do all of these things for truly He is the only one who sees and knows our most private lives.
Blessings~
