My truth is not your truth.

I own it on my own.

I have kept these truths inside me, with these I can’t go wrong.

It may never make any sense to you.

Some people may try to argue what I know to be as true.

What they don’t realize is I have my own proof.

I hold fast to the truth I’ve found and hold it very close.

To understand who I truly am my truths I may disclose.

This is my truth

I still shed a tear after losing you.

The pain is so fresh, so open, so new.

I can’t tell when I will stop feeling the pain.

You were such a big part of our lives and we will never be the same.

You gave us unconditional love that we sometimes didn’t deserve.

The times we needed you the most you were ready to serve.

You are gone now and missing you is so hard.

Our love for you will never go away no matter where we are.

To stand in the face of adversity a place where you never thought you would be.

To have the Faith to Trust in His Word, and not believe what is seen but trust in what you have heard.

To know that the odds are stacked against you but still you stand in spite of not knowing what to do.

To see how people plot and scheme, twist words and are just so Mean.

To have such a trust in God that nothing that comes seems odd.

To stand against insurmountable hurt still proclaiming God First.

This is the Faith we Must Have!

The assurance that no matter what He Will Do What He Says.

Not putting our belief in what we see, but standing on Everything He Said I Will Be!

Poetry flows like the ink from my pen.

It pours out of me like a sonnet that has no end.

Verses I write creating the rhythmic flow.

It’s almost like the words pour out creating their own show.

Poetry flows like the oceans waves.

The words teach me what I should say.

I am open to the rhymes, I am open to the flow.

Poetry is my gift, it gives me a glow.
