I Haven’t Written in a While

I haven’t written in a while, not because I didn’t want to.

I found myself doing other things that kept me very busy.

The art of writing keeps me intrigued and it helps me funnel all my thoughts so I can reflect and stay in tune.

But life comes at you whether you’re ready or not bringing you new challenges, joys, sadness, happiness, and questions that all have to be addressed.

So although I haven’t written in a while I have to get back.

The thoughts that I need to express, the words that I have to say, the feelings that I have must be shared cause keeping them inside makes it hard to breathe.

Stunning

I always notice the evening sky with all of its brilliant colors.

I’m not sure if it is the fact that the day is ending or that another day will soon be beginning.

The beauty draws me, captivates me, and pulls me in.

I have seen art that is beautiful to behold.

There is nothing that captivates me like the wonders of the reds, and pinks, purples, and blues.

The soft yellows, and muted blues that reflect what used to be the brightness of the sun.
