Be Still and Know

To be Still and know takes practice. To not DO Anything but wait, and listen takes discipline. To understand the power that keeps you in the place of humble submission takes total trust. 

I heard His voice tell me to be Still and Know. I can do this and I can do that but His voice brings me to a place of stillness. His voice brings me back to a calm which allows Him to pour into me what I lost. I know the power in Stillness, it takes away doubt and fear. It calms the uncertainties of this life and it allows my spirit to be refreshed.  

I know this place well, for when I get anxious it reminds me to be anxious for nothing, but pray. We don’t realize how powerful we are when we are still. The enemy knows and that is why he does everything he can to be busy. Our lives should be more effective. We should be more aware, discerning, less worried, and less fearful. There is no room for worry, doubt, or fear when we become Still in His presence.

Lord, help me to be Still and Know.
